A new look and fresh approach for the 2013 VB NSW Cup

The 2013 VB NSW Cup season is shaping up to be another exciting season, with a new look, new scheduling and two new teams

With the formation last year of the Australian Rugby League Commission, change was not only applied to the NRL, but the NSWRL competition.

VB NSW Cup matches will be played as curtain raisers to NRL fixtures with broadcast of live matches on Fox Sports.

The Central Coast based Wyong Roos make their VB NSW Cup debut, with West Magpies and the Balmain Tigers, merging as Wests Tigers.

With the start of the season only weeks away, we spoke with NSWRL media manager Brad Preston, along with Alby Talarico

about season 2013.

Round 1 of the VB NSW Cup begins on Saturday March 9 with the first game being between

Wentworthville Magpies and Mounties
